If you want assistance with your year-round planning or critique of your current plans then this is the package for you
Description:
The “Bud to Box” package will produce a management plan for each of your blocks from pruning, croploading, chemical thinning, hand thinning and ensuring that your packout is optimal come harvest time.
What’s included?
- 20 visits over a 12 month period
- Ensure a system for data collection and monitoring is in place
- Analysis of current year results
Cropload - Setting the right targets
Is this package for me?
Want some help setting up your optimal croploads for both young and old blocks? This package will help you to develop a system to optimise your croploading decisions as well as prioritise your jobs for the coming months.
Description:
The croploading package will produce target croploads for each block to inform pruning and thinning decisions. These will be based both on your historical data as well as tree data measured during the visit.
What’s included?
- One visit in autumn/winter to:
- Measure key block data
- Produce cropload plans
- Suggest pruning and thinning priorities
- Evaluation of last year’s results
- Regular dialogue via email or Whatsapp
Financial health check
Is this package for me?
Not sure on how your blocks are performing relative to others or need some help with annual budgeting? This is a financial health check designed to evaluate your current systems and ensure data is being tracked in such a way that allows you to accurately assess which blocks are (or aren’t performing) and areas for further improvement.
Description:
The “Financial health check” will assess your current business financial health and identify areas for improvement. Suggestions for systems improvements to allow accurate profitability analysis will also be completed.
What’s included?
- A visit to assess your financial systems
- A report with suggested areas for improvement both within your systems and on farm
- “Identifying the low hanging fruit”
- A follow up visit to ensure adopted strategies are working for you, and if not, help you to find something that will work.
Development dilemmas - planning for new block success
Is this package for me?
Planting or redeveloping blocks and looking for some advice; this package will develop budgets and discuss the likely financial implications of undertaking a new development on your business.
Description:
This package will develop budgets and discuss the likely financial implications of undertaking a new development on your business. A budget will be produced for each block assessing likely income and profit as well as total expenditure. This data can then be used to inform your decisions around (re)development.
What’s included?
- A visit to discuss options and your plan for (re)development
- Budgets produced for each block
- Follow-up visit to discuss budgets
Regular Review
Is this package for me?
Happy with how things are going but would like a second set of eyes every now and then?
Description:
Regular scheduled visits will involve walking the orchard and discussing strategies and plans/targets. A set of notes will be produced for each visit.

- 4-5 visits over a 12 month period
- Critique and debate of current practises
- Analysis of current year results
- Regular dialogue via email or Whatsapp
